By the war memorial

The flowers in the tubs by the war memorial are looking very pretty at the moment. I took this after going to a women's breakfast at the church. We had an interesting Dutch lady who spoke to us about working in Mongolia and Europe as a missionary and then coming to this country in her late forties and marrying a widowed church pastor with two children. She was a lovely person and I was glad I had made the effort to go on what is a busy day for me.

Church news sheet typed and copied this afternoon and songs practised on my guitar ready for Palm Sunday service tomorrow. I do like the Easter season, so meaningful :-)
