Hungry Birds!

Earlier this evening MaggieD and I went on a wee expedition to the Kinneil lagoons between Bo'ness and Grangemouth. The foreshore mud was dense with hundreds and hundreds of waders of all description. I could see lots of godwits but there were very many others which I just couldn't identify.
We also got a bit of that lovely sun!
Today's extra is of some teal and some godwits nesting on the lagoon bank, a good safe environment for them.
I really need to go and read up on my British wildfowl!
