After a walk around Ely and it's imposing cathedral, I was heading back to the station along the riverbank when I saw this lovely spot. Right on cue, as I was contemplating the best camera shot, the rower turned up and turned the tranquil scene into this action shot.
I'm appreciating the late summer sun and hopefully there's more to come.
