Friday: Handsome Fred

I did say recently that I would never again apologise for cat blips, nor would I view them as emergency blips. They are with us for such a short time and so deserve to be remembered. So here is handsome Fred - he actually seems quite oblivious to the fact that his brother isn't around anymore. So fickle...........

We had a farewell lunch for a leaving colleague today. She has resigned to go on and do other stuff.

K. and I were supposed to be heading over to east Vancouver this evening to go to the opening of an art exhibition. But it was very windy, and we were feeling a little weary, so we bailed and opted for a cosy night in instead.
