Finale

These local parrot tulips were a good value from the Bellingham Farmers Market opening day last Saturday, bright and chipper early in the week (see extra) but poignantly beautiful today.

Their colorful petals, whether fallen or in a wide stance, still attached to their stems, were a welcome spot of color on an otherwise dull, windy, wet day. Spring seems to be approaching at a snail's pace this year!
