Happy birthday to me!

Yes, it's a whopping birthday today, so much so that I was able to check that my teacher's pension had arrived in my bank at 3am today! Yippee! Eeeek! 60 sounds very, very old to me and doesn't feel right at all. So I'm going to delay it for at least ten years.

But not before I've celebrated with my chums this evening.

Ali told anyone that asked that I'd like trees for my birthday and so far I have received 23 wonderful trees including a tall Magnolia Grandiflora Gallisoniensis and a beeeaaaauuuuuutiful Picea Pungens Hoopsii. Great names for magnificent specimens..

I can't wait to get planting and today the terrassier was dancing in his huge digger, laying down swathes of garden and lowering the driveway. What fun!
