Unloved

The hillsides around are dotted with the yellow of gorse bushes.  They are a delightful buttery yellow - another sign we are well into spring - and should be admired for their ruggedness.  I've rarely seen them in cultivated gardens - perhaps their strong, long and effective thorns make them too dangerous.  Best admired from a distance I think.
