book:  finished March Violets and will start another book i was persuaded to take at our drunken 'book club in the pub' session:  The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets by Eva Rice.  i'm most relieved to see that it has bigger print than the last one.

cooking: M&S fish & chips with mushy peas...the kindly Mister knows how to spoil a girl!  we have special tomato ketchup too.
