Starlings

We both went up to the allotment and got a fair bit done - planted spuds, plus more digging, clipping and....watering! Yes, the new stuff needs watering and the cooncil have obligingly switched the supply to the taps back on. And even more asparagus snoots are showing. :-)

The spudgers were pleased to see seed in the feeder again, but very put out by the arrival of two rowdy starlings who made an incredible racket and scattered seed everywhere. Can't object to that incredible iridescent plumage, though.

You may spot a couple of grumpy sparrows in the background....
