Road test...

So this is the first live road test of the watch strap replacement project. It is very fiddley tying these together but it's a necessary step to iron out any kinks before varnish and final build.

First issue is that the outside edges are a bit sharp so need to just lightly sand them to soften them.

Secondly it hangs a bit loose. I'm not sure where I'll go with this yet. It makes it easy to put on but reopens the question of creating some sort of clasping mechanism.

There were some other wee minor reshaping needing done but overall, quite happy with it.
