Stupid old woman!

Well feel free to have a right old giggle. The tail end of Cyclone Debbie had deposited huge amounts of sandy silt in creek bed beside our bach and it's drying off so as I wandered out for a blip I thought lazily " Oh, I'll just walk across the sand instead of going down to lake bridge ". Stepped out and promptly sank up to my waist...saturated myself in water and sand, list a shoe, drowned my phone ( again!) and took about 5 messy minutes to extract myself totally inelegantly from the virtual quicksand. Wisdom doesn't always come with age! Hanging on to my sense of humour for all I'm worth though...
