ATOS Kills

Some of the people demonstrating today outside the offices of ATOS in Norwich against the way disabled people are denied access to benefits and the way they are treated by this organisation.

Interestingly enough, the signposting on the building does not state 'ATOS' anywhere - simply signs for 'Medical Services' and 'Medical Examination Centre'.

Makes you think they were ashamed .....

The demonstration lasted about an hour, and we had signs saying 'Honk if you support us' and many people did - it was by a busy roundabout. Some people inside the building came out and asked us to move as the noise was annoying them as they tried to work. It was politely explained to them that we would be gone shortly, and that being disabled and denied access to benefits was also rather annoying. And lasted far longer than the length of today's demonstration.

And also, interestingly, the 'medical centre' is not on the ground floor of the building.
