No Way Through

Heavy rain on the mountain on Wednesday night meant that the ford on the Kowhai Stream was washed out once more.

The people on the other side had to turn back, and I, despite having a four wheel drive truck, did exactly the same.

We're hopeful that the District Council will consider putting in a permanent crossing as if we needed to get off the hill in an emergency we'd be stuck.
