Ocean View

A day in Newquay today with a slower start than our mornings have gone this week. We headed off into the town after breakfast and once the cyclist had left. Mission successful on the crab for tea and a few other purchases too, although we resisted the temptation of pasties, crabs and seagulls of the cuddly variety but not the fudge.

Back for lunch and an attempt to cross the Gannel to the Crantock side which wasn't successful but no cameras were harmed in the process. We missed our surfers on Fistral arriving just as they were finishing but we caught a few others and Bailey and I walked the length of the beach and back along the path by the golf course.

And tonight we have eaten our lovely crab linguine before heading out to the cinema to see the National Theatre production of "Twelfth Night" which was fantastic with great performances from every single character. A walk back and a suitable greeting from Bailey ended our day.
