Swan pond

Late blipping today! The photography class ended up making an impromptu field trip to the local duck pond this evening. It's definitely not a lake, although there were very many swans and cygnets. The water was really brown and putrid looking and with the poor light conditions it was difficult to get good images on the water. I ended up taking lots of macro photos of unfolding leaves! I've included one in extras, although it's a bit dark.

The light fell really quickly and I had to take these with quite a high ISO. It was good to get outside and even better to have a very short trip home, as I live opposite the duck pond!
