Early Spider Orchids

....are out in our village of Antagnes (extra is the front view) and there are hundreds of them this year! I know they are are rare in Switzerland and this evening I was looking for retiring butterflies when I saw 3 young men with big lenses crawling around my butterfly field! They had come from Neuchâtel, an hour and a half from here by car, for these very special orchids. Another reason I am lucky to live here!

Thanks for all the lovely comments and presents for yesterday's big effort on skis. Sorry I have not been able to respond personally, we are silly busy at the moment, preparing for the solar panels that will arrive next week. When they said they had never put them on a slope like ours before, we now know why!
