Happy Valley....

....a site of special scientific interest. What a lovely day to be walking in such a beautiful area - grasslands - home to a variety of orchids, spring flowers, butterflies and trees. It is owned by The Corporation of London. Land was acquired from 1878 by the city for people to enjoy walking and being in the countryside. Various other areas are also owned by the city - for example Burnham Beeches, Epping Forest, Wickam Common and Happy Valley.
