Needs a top hat and coat!
More work today on the Village Hall. All the main frames are complete and a rough coat has been lashed on to assist in finishing and filling gaps, then it'll all be sanded before final top coats of paint are applied. And of course the roof too. I might make the sheets of corrugated iron separately instead of cutting from single pieces of plastic but I'll have to fathom out a way to do it.
In other news the painter and decorator doing the outside of Bell Towers came rushing to the back door to tell me he'd just seen a Red Squirrel rutting in the Hazel bushes. I told him to stop sniffing the Nitromors. He was adamant, it was definitely red and when it saw him it swam across the farm pond to escape. (They do this on their backs to keep their nuts dry.) At 4pm his carer called for him.
