What's On Your Plate?

We know Blipfoto is a worldwide community. We often get to travel virtually and dream about far away places and cultures.  Sometimes we even meet up with fellow blippers in the course of actual travel.
 
Are you up to sharing a little bit of your culture?  We propose to make the first week of each month a themed “cultural blip.” Read on below for the first of that new series. And let us know if you think it’s a good idea, and please give us your suggestions on what other facets of culture could be used in that way.
 
In that spirit, on Saturday, April 8, we’d like you to show us “what’s on your plate.” 
 
Yes, we are talking about food! It’s a favorite pastime for most of us and a lifelong hobby for some of us. A few have even taken food to an art form.
 
So, if you’re willing to participate, on Saturday, make your blip post a photo of what you are eating. It can be a dinner you prepared, it can be a night out on town, but make food (or its preparation) the hero of your blip :)
 
And if you’re so inclined and would like to share your favorite recipe along with your blip photo, we’d love to see it (and might even try it out).
