The Joy of Spring

I spent a very pleasant morning with some lovely friends, having coffee and a nice stroll round a country park.  The birds were out in abundance.........as were half the county, it seemed........the country park had an event of some kind for the start of the school Easter holidays in that county, so the place was full of children ( something I hadn't bargained for as the children in the village are still at school )..........however, once we got away from the visitor centre and playground it wasn't so bad ......the sun was shining, the swans were peaceful and we even found some Orange Tip  butterflies to chase (see extras)......all in all, a very enjoyable and warm Spring outing  :-)
