Because the night

Wandered through to Glasgow tonight with (big) Alex to see Patti Smith. Wasn't too sure what to expect but despite the occassional descent into her customary poetic madness she was astounding. Great band (including Lenny Kaye), great prescence and a a marvellous set including Gloria, Because the Night, and Rock'n'Roll Nigger finished off with ripping the strings of her guitar one by one... rock and roll!!

She is a total legend.....

Still struggling with the wee camera at gigs, need to sit down and work this one out.
