The Grand Cascade, Alnwick Garden, Northumberland,

Created by The Duchess of Northumberland in the grounds of Alnwick Castle.

Work began in 1997. A stunning place to visit, so many water features, and beautiful gardens. A recent addition is the Taihaku Cherry Orchard. Over 300 trees, with loads of double swings. So relaxing to swing and enjoy the peacefulness in the sunshine. It is the largest cherry orchard of its kind in the world.
