Sophie Takes A Selfie

Our regular Wednesday for looking after Sophie, and we enjoyed Rhyme Time in the library this morning and choosing more books to borrow.

After her post-lunch nap, Sophie spent ages playing with her doll's house; it was delightful to listen to her unselfconscious running commentary on what she was doing and her conversations with the little wooden figures that inhabit the house.

She was so involved in her imaginary world that, for a long time, she didn't notice me snapping away; when she did, she decided to take a selfie with the little wooden TV that is part of the toy furniture. Just loved the beaming smile.
