Fritillaria

We're never usually very successful at growing and keeping these pretty fritillaria plants, but this is the same plant Mr W planted in our new flowerbed last Spring in the front garden :-)

I love the fragility & mottled effect of the burgandy petals.

I also have very fond memories as a wren & fritillaria were on the stationery where I worked for over 20 years and gave us our corporate colour too :)
