Thieving Magpies

are the only birds we get in the garden these days apart from squawking seagulls. This morning 2 were down pecking away and had a beakful of material. I have just been out to investigate and notice they're pinching the lining from a planter. Seems like they're building a nest on the chimney pot.
Make do and mend was non productive but lots of ideas for projects.
From bike seat covers, button pictures,peg bags and so on. None of course were attempted.Keep watching ;)
