World of Outlaws Racing

Our house guests joined us in an outing with our son and his girlfriend at the Willamette Speedway this evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sprint car racing action.

The World of Outlaws series was racing at the Willamette Speedway for the very first time.

Holey Moley these cars are the most outrageous race machines.

Sadly, I was unable to get much in the way of racing action shots as they went by the stands at "ludicrous speed" throwing a roost spray of clay from the dirt track into the grandstand.

What fun!

The #29 car in this photo won the main event and the big money.
