Visiting!

This wee critter was knocking but it appears no-one was home.

Once again, I know very little about fungi so I can't name this one, or the wee visitor.  They were hiding under a shrub in my garden, avoiding the worst of the rain.

Winter must be coming.  I left home in the dark this morning, and arrived home in the dark tonight.  Just as well I had to pop up to the repair shop this afternoon to pick up my van.  I dropped it at home, took a quick photo and changed my wet shoes, and walked back to work.  

Of course my shoes were wet again by the time I got there - and I only live 100 metres away!
