Back home

After a couple of trains, I am back home! I have spent the evening catching up with my dad (as my mum was at the theatre). We went and fed the lambs together before talking about various diseases, linking the farming knowledge he has with the science knowledge I have.

Even though he told me never to go into farming because of how exhausting it is, I always feel a bit guilty about having no one there to take over the family farm. However, following in his footsteps but in a research-based way seems to be something that makes him very happy :)
