Early reception

The buses worked well this morning. So much so that I was in the hospital for a retinopathy screening just before 8, well in advance of an 8.30 appointment.

By 8.15 this was the view of the reception desk, then everything fell into shape and I was seen just after my scheduled time. Fortunately no drops needed in the eyes so drove into the office for a senior management team meeting. Some big issues swirling around at the moment over budget and how we work as a national team, so much time taken up with refinishing our approach.

Lots of correspondence ndence to catch up on so nearly 12 hours after first leaving the house got home. More reading and hunting for personal papers. Busy day.
