King of the Towpath

On the canalside close to Nantwich Basin is a series of wooden statues (here's another I blipped in January). This is the biggest - a gesture towards the horses that once pulled barges along the canal. It's also not far from Malbank School, formerly Nantwich and Acton Grammar School (which I attended) - commonly abbreviated to NAGS. Neigh!
