Childhood friend

I grew up with Andrea.  Our parents were friends (still are) and according to my 'baby book' she was 'shy' and therefore a moderating influence on me (too chatty)!

Aged 11 our lives diverged but in a weird quirk of fate, we discovered 8  years ago that her in-laws live in Linton.  Her husbands family are all here for the next few days for a catch-up.

We had a quick coffee this afternoon and much of the talk was about the traumas of dementia .  We have both been very much affected.
