St Paul De Vence
This is the view from the garden this afternoon of the ancient town of St Paul. Saint-Paul-de-Vence is situated in the Alpes-Maritimes . One of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera and well known for its modern and contemporary art museums and galleries which have very interesting and eclectic pieces of work, some most certainly better than other. It is always nice to walk around the old town with its narrow streets and winding paths.
I took this early evening when the sun was setting. The sun makes the old stone turn golden and I like how the vibrant green in the foreground is in contrast with the blue sky in the background.
Today has been fairly lazy... Well extremely lazy because we did not arise until 1 o'clock this afternoon so we missed most of the sun. I didn't even venture into the pool today after yesterday's freezing experience so have been reading and chillaxing outside.
Went out for dinner to a restaurant at the back of St Paul which was unfortunately fairly disappointing. The menu was a 'surprise' which it certainly was! Anyway it was still a nice evening.
Hope you have had a great day everyone :)
