Stupid idiot gets lucky

Tonights walk was a quick one at about 3-3.5 hours. It was getting dark quickly and I was still up the top of Anstey Hill without a torch, plus I had left the telephoto lens in the car (as well as my bottle of water - not such a good night). What an idiot.
I had the DSLR in my hand and was thinking about getting out the film camera when some young kangaroos crossed my path. A bit of luck that highlighted my stupidity.
Have to go back with the tele another night and hope that we meet again.
