Battery Point

We walked up to Battery Point this morning to a Bakery that was recommended to us. We had a fabulous breakfast and vowed to come back in the afternoon to try one of their delicious looking pastries. We sat overlooking the water in this view for a while in the sunshine doing crosswords and writing postcards. We spent a few hours wandering through the pretty streets and galleries, stopping for a glass of wine in the sun then back to the Lark Distillery for whiskey tasting and a final Forty Spotted Gin and Tonic. We tried a Greek restaurant for dinner not far from where we were staying. It was fabulous and we were lucky to get a table due to a cancellation. Our young and very knowledgable waitress matched an excellent Greek wine to our lamb Yros and rtalked us into a dessert that was also delicious. We are glad we did a lot of walking today!
