Beaubourg

Wandered around Les Marais, taking in the lovely Place des Vosges and ending up at the Pompidou Centre. I remember visiting it in the 70s when I regularly visited Paris on a French exchange, and the uproar at the crazy design of the building. This basin of quirky colourful fountains, straight out of a children's book captivated me then, and again now.
