Looking outwards
Today has been a day of relentless, round the clock dog walks! Having said that, bumping into people I've got to know through dog walking is really nice. With some it's just hello and onwards, with others it's a catch up on their dog, job or just things that's going on. I reckon that dog owners with their dogs are more more friendly with people they don't know than parents with children are. I've noticed the same thing when I've been out cycling, a shared interest or a similar struggle, could be an explanation, but the communication is there.
So looking up then, the sky was bright and clear all day and as I came back from one of my walks I just grabbed a few shots. It reminded me of how, years ago, I took groups of children out to look at the shapes of the clouds, let their imaginations run wild, and then back inside to paint. I'd like to think that those things make a difference.
With one walk left tonight I see what the skies have to offer.
