The Last Ride

Today I had the privilege of leading a celebration of life for a wonderful man, much loved by his family and many friends - the church was packed!  His wife (a friend) was happy for me to post a picture as she rode pillion from the church service to the crematorium alongside her husband.  The day was  warm and bright, making a perfect day for a ride on a bike.  

The LORD gives strength to those who are weary. 
Even young people get tired, then stumble and fall. 
But those who trust the LORD will find new strength. 
They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; 
they will walk and run without getting tired. 
Isaiah 40:31
