Purple flower

I  managed to forget my camera when I went to Lancaster this morning.  A pity as the bay looked lovely as did the Castle there.  Curses.  

Yet another flower.  Although I can't remember the name of this - it is very pretty when in full flower and I particularly liked its hairy appearance.

Everything surging ahead in the garden which is great.  The acers are coming into leaf and it won't be long for other plants too.  Neat.
