Crochet Disaster!

Not all crochet squares turn out the way you think they will.

This was an old pattern I found on the internet, there was no picture to go with it but I thought I'd try it anyway!

It's very 3D with the frills of the flower standing up and believe it or not my hand hurt like hell after doing it..........it's not finished yet....I'm not even sure I like it very much at this point........
