First snowfall of 2009

Took an early morning walk with Grace today in the dusting of snow that fell overnight. Nice to get some fresh air, not that we've been lacking it lately! It was a bit slippery, but Grace took it all in her (short) stride.

I posted early yesterday (about 1am!), so didn't get a chance to write about what else we did on 1st. After welcoming in the new year, we went with our special guest to Tynemouth and spent the afternoon on the beach there, which was lovely. It was the first time Grace had been to the seaside since she could walk, and she had such FUN!
