Three generations of Hereford cattle - in the mist

The cow lying down is the grandmother, behind which is the somewhat anxious mother (with her recently-born calf) on guard for any possible threats.

Whilst I know these cattle well, I felt that it would be unwise to go down their road.  It's not a good idea to upset a cow that has recently calved!
