Rebus but for real

For those of you who don't know inspector Rebus, the creation of Ian Rankin, he is an Edinburgh police inspector - and his real life counterparts are currently investigating a gruesome find about a hundred yards from my front door.

It is something that I'm sure most of you will have heard about if you are from Edinburgh, and I've got to admit to still being shocked as I pass probably within yards fro the spot on an almost daily basis. Here's hoping that it is solved and whomever the remains belong to are put to rest soon.
