Pink Lavender

A very satisfying cleanup in part of the garden today. The only part that isn't satisfying is how much everything hurts now! Mr S prepared two large beds for planting vegetables; he had the harder job by far, but doesn't seem affected by it. I did some major weeding and swept up a lot of the debris that is still around from the storms. There are mysterious clods of dirt under the weeds, and mounds of redwood chips that washed in from somewhere; we did have some on one of the paths, but there is much more here than we started with.  It was a lovely warm day to be outside, but I overdid it as usual. I never feel it til it's too late. And apparently I never learn. But I do love being out there.
