It's been a busy weekend. With visits to showrooms, replacing a tyre as some ****+!?€$*^%* had left a screw bolt lying around to puncture a perfectly good tyre.

And today, after Sunday school where the magnolia (as blipped) in the garden was in full bloom, I got to spend time in the garden.

Three beds weeded; grass cut at the front. And most importantly of all, after 6 months of digging trenches, cutting stones, mixing mortar and generally make no a mess, I managed to hand rake the grass in the back garden. Three buckets of moss, debris and small stones collected so I could cut the grass.

The lawn has been hammered but while there are several areas to be seeded it almost began to look slightly respectable. And to do so in lovely sunshine made it a very pleasant day, rounded off with a 2 hour discussion with our architect as we plan works on the house.
