Easter cakes.

Possibly a little early, but we enjoyed making (and eating) these Easter cakes today.
The weather has been beautiful today, so Neil used the opportunity to go for a bike ride (23 miles apparently) whilst Theo, Henry and I had a lazy day at home. We baked cakes, completed Theo's sticker book, built a den in the lounge, did drawing, played in the garden and cooked roast lamb (my favourite!).
Unfortunately the washing machine broke down. It's 15 years old and has only needed an occasional spring replacing to support the drum but now I think it might be something electrical. I'll ring Mr Washing machine repair man tomorrow and see what he thinks. So this afternoon also included hand washing Theo's school jumper ready for tomorrow!
