Digging For Worms
Come this time of year I quite often have the beach to myself when I go out for my morning run. As soon as the schools go back, the caravan site goes quite and there tends to be more older couples in caravanettes and fewer families about. Unless they have a dog, you tend not to see the older couples on the beach first thing in the morning.
The weather today was fine and mild although when I was out for my run it was still a bit overcast. When I reached the Bay there was a 4x4 car down near the water's edge, an unusual sight as vehicles are only allowed on the beach to launch and recover boats. On closer inspection I could see it was anglers, with one attending to a boat on the roof of the car and the other digging in the sand for worms. Anyway, thought they added a bit of interest to this familiar view.
Had hoped to go out later with the camera for some better shots, but the light was not great and there was a real sense of the days drawing in!
