Tearing It Down, Building It Up

Edinburgh is a very noisy mixture of tearing down and building up again. Down goes the block that used to be Burger King, Waterstones and the Disney shop. That'll be a(nother) hotel. "Up" goes the trams and related stuff. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hard to get away from.

Anyway, it makes for some once-in-a-lifetime views, like this one. Whilst I was taking last night's scene, I noticed this view round the corner and saved it for today. I took the D5100 and the 10mm lens with me today to capture it, and when I backed into the old doorway I found it framed the scene. Then a pigeon took off. Bit of judgement, a lot of luck. As ever ;)
