Little Family

We drove back to Canton today for a little visit with our son Tom, his wife Kristin, and our two grandsons Elliott and Henry.  I can't believe Henry is already 2 1/2 weeks old!  Elliott is proving to be an excellent big brother.  We are very proud of how good and patient he is with little Henry. 

The weather was really lovely -- sunny and nice and mild with temperatures in the low 60's F, so we had quite a happy time playing out in the garden with Elliott.  We'd brought him a dinosaur water pistol, and some bubble wands which were a big hit.  Henry came outside too, and we sat in the sunshine (he all bundled up in blankets!) while he enjoyed a picnic lunch consisting of a bottle served up by his doting grandmother.

Here is Kristin with her two boys.  Henry, as you can see, is very relaxed!  Elliott was fighting off being drowsy, and saying he really didn't need a nap ... Poppy (Mr. W) lured him upstairs with the promise of reading him a story, and it worked like a charm.  Ten minutes later Poppy returned, and Elliott stayed aloft, sound asleep!
