Country walking

Another Nantwich walk - this time starting with a footpath from the Whitchurch Road to Queens Drive and then taking much the same Dorfold Estate route as Friday.

It's helpful that Sarah is around, so we can share the Dad workload and both get a bit of a break.

Dad not feeling great - says he is stiffening up, that it took 1.5 hours to get dressed this morning, and he has a swollen right foot and poor strength / sensitivity in his right hand.

Sarah and I talked to him at length this morning about how he felt, and he was adamant: "I won't last another week at home". He seems depressed; his poor mobility and reduced manual dexterity means he's losing confidence to cook, etc; and he is also plainly unable to bathe/wash himself properly.

And he has hardly been outside the house for weeks (Sarah and I both asked, if we helped him, did he want to sit outside in the sun; he refused).
