Hellifield Station

On our way to Lancaster (yes, over the past two weeks we have now visited all three capital cities of our nearest counties - including York and Chester) Mr MD and I decided to call in at Hellifield Railway Station.   We knew there were no steam trains about but, because it's so well known, we just wanted to see what it was like.   The Station Cafe was open, advertising its 'World Famous Firemans Breakfast' but we managed not to partake, mainly because it was 2pm in the afternoon.
